Episode 2

Billie Eilish’s When We All Fall Asleep Tour Is A Mixed Bag

Welcome to State Of Grace, a podcast about pop music hosted by Hollywood insider and pop music obsessive Eric Fulcher and Cinnamon co-founder/editor-in-chief Caitlin White. The goal of State Of Grace is to illuminate themes and trends in pop music and discuss landmark albums in the genre with the kind of scrutiny that many other more male-dominated forms of music have already been afforded for the last several decades. Given that, the majority of each episode will almost always be focused around a female or queer performer.

The second episode is about Billie Eilish’s When We All Fall Asleep tour, which was a very mixed bag, but is definitely one of the most interesting cultural phenomenons of 2019. Billie played three sold-out shows in Los Angeles last week, two at the Shrine Auditorium and one at the Greek Theatre. We attended the second night at the Shrine, and I reviewed the show for Uproxx. Neither of us are massive Billie fans, but we both find her lineage in the pop world to be fascinating . Listen to the episode below or download the episode here.
