THE MOON

It’s hard not have a heavy heart right now. We are all experiencing a level of grief for our world. We are all witnessing loss, confusion and fear on a global scale. The Moon is the card of grief, and the honoring of it. In my own journey with grief, I have come to learn an incredibly valuable lesson; grief comes from a place of deep love. If we didn’t love something or someone, we wouldn’t mourn it. So what does that say? It says we are also experiencing deep, deep love for one another around the world.

What we once took for granted we now can’t wait to return to. Those we love, those we miss — how precious will it be to hold them again? Yes, this may be one of the most unsettling times, but it is also one of the most profound. Let’s recognize our pain as another form of love. Can we transmute the energy of grief into gratitude? Let’s be our own healers. Let’s use this time of grief to open ourselves up to the great infinite source of love being shared all over our planet.

Full Moon in Scorpio 05.07.20 ~ THE WORLD REVERSED

The World card reversed signifies that we are nearing the end of a karmic cycle. For each of us, these last few weeks and months have brought many lessons. We’ve had to look closely at our behaviors, our thought patterns, our emotions and our coping mechanisms. Scorpio is the dark waters of the subconscious and the moon in Scorpio likes to bring our shit right up to the surface. Let’s embrace that. With each lesson learned, we get to know ourselves better. We develop a stronger sense of our intuition. We take one step closer to loving ourselves. We will come out on the other side of this stronger, more learned and more connected to our souls.

New Moon in Gemini 05.22.20 ~ THE HIGH PRIESTESS

The High Priestess reminds us that we have all the answers we need within us. Before all of this, most of us were go, go, go. Not taking enough time to stop and tune into our inner guidance. We are so used to making decisions based on what we “should” do. We let our emotions come from a place of reaction, rather than a place of centered knowing. Gemini is highly intelligent and brings self-awareness. Utilize this energy to go within and dig deeper. Yes, feel your feelings. But then ask yourself — why am I feeling this way? What do I need to know from this emotion? What is it teaching me? How can I fully support myself right now? Don’t be afraid to go there with yourself. Self-reflection is the truest form of self-care.
