Believe In Yourself
March 2020 ~ ACE OF CUPS REVERSED
We aren’t going to get where we want to go if we don’t love ourselves. We aren’t going to go after our dreams if we don’t believe we are deserving of them. We work so, so hard to hold ourselves back. We return to habits that harm us, we return to our (dis)comfort zones to keep ourselves safe and small. We replay those stories where we were mistreated, and we chose to believe them. The Ace of Cups reversed is asking us to bring awareness to our actions, thoughts and situations that aren’t based in self-love. And there’s probably more than we think. Begin to ask yourself: Am I doing this/eating this/saying yes to this/thinking this out of love for myself? Or out of shame, fear or boredom? How can you bring self-love into all that you do? Begin a practice where you act, speak and think from a place of self-love.
Full Moon in Virgo 03.09.20 ~ THE FOOL
It’s time to throw a little (or a lot) of caution to the wind and say yes. The Fool is the leap of faith card. The Fool says don’t ask for permission, ask for forgiveness. The full moon phase is high energy, high emotion and can bring on high fears. Remember that the only guidance you ever need to follow is your intuition —not your emotions, not your fears, not your old, outdated thought patterns. Virgo likes structure, security, grounding, planning. The Fool and the call to take a leap in your life may feel like the antithesis of this, however security is internal, not external. We are so much more resilient than we give ourselves credit for. We can choose to feel safe, solid and provided for regardless of what life throws at us. It’s time. Time to fully live your one precious life. Leap, and don’t look back.
New Moon in Aries 03.24.20 ~ 4 OF WANDS REVERSED
Why are we so hard on ourselves? Who is standing over us with a rule book, tallying all our rights and wrongs? No one. This time of year, there can be a lot of pressure to get things done, to catch up, to get ready for spring. Maybe we feel we need to spend less, organize more, work harder. Our self-care takes a back seat. We stop giving ourselves permission to enjoy our lives, to have fun. Or worse, we tell ourselves we “can’t afford” to have fun. The only person who suffers from a lack of work/life balance is you. There are plenty of ways to connect, let loose and laugh. Get creative. You still deserve to enjoy your life, even if you don’t have all your ducks in a row. We become so focused on our goals, that we miss the journey. Go out and play, go out and find your sense of joy, then come back and bring that joy into your tasks.
